Serena Edwards I was born in Yorkshire and during my childhood lived locally here in Henley but spent most of my formative years overseas in Nigeria, Thailand and Australia. I returned to the UK about 11 years ago, when I met my husband. I worked with a multi-national business in Australia, USA and in the UK. But after about two years in the UK I took the decision to have a career break to do something for myself after 12 years in Corporate Life in Sales & Marketing. It wasn’t until we had our daughter that I took on the role of Editor for the NCT in Maidenhead & Marlow that I found the “thing” that really interested me. In 2006 I decided that I wanted to start my own business and created a local community magazine called “Mostly Marlow”, which has recently become “Along the Thames”. I believe passionately in the local community and have promoted the magazine to connect the communities we live in with the services that exist around us. The magazine is delivered to around 8,000 homes in the local area and has grown substantially since its inception. During this time I have been fortunate to meet many local people and businesses and am amazed at the talent out there. If you would like to know more please give me a call.
